New businesses usually struggle before reaching their second year. One of the hardships they face is scaling their staff but keeping costs low while looking and sounding professional. Celerity Telecom hired me to design a solution that could help their company grow and also be offered as a service to their existing customer base
With potential users ranging from small startups to huge companies, the design had to be able to scale seamlessly. The business model is subscription-based and pricing varies depending on the amount of Departments and Extensions that each admin has. Since users have to enter their credit card information to finish the onboarding flow, they can create new extensions and departments on-demand and be charged on their next invoice.
If an Extension owner is in a different time zone to the rest of the team (East Coast vs West Coast), they can set up an automated message in their current timezone indicating their availability. And in case they can't pick up at that moment, clients can leave a message and they can hear a recording or read an automated transcription later. The main goal here is to never lose a lead.
